In and around Sillian, several toboggan runs offer different ways to experience winter — with or without a climb. Particularly charming is the natural toboggan run from the Leckfeldalm: the ascent is rewarded with regional specialties served at the hut.
For a more effortless option, take the cable car up to the Golzentipp in Obertilliach — and enjoy the long, winding ride back down into the valley. In the Winkeltal, a floodlit run leads directly to the Reiterstube: sled rental, a warm stop, and traditional dishes included.
In Sillian, a well-kept natural ice rink awaits in the open air — perfect for an easy glide. Further options can be found nearby: small, refined, and free from the crowds.
